What is here?

This page has the files that you can download for free for THEN projects and areas. The following types of files are available here.

• Custom Map for GPS: file containing a map for one or more projects in a format that you can load into a Garmin GPS device.
  
  
  • appears on your GPS screen so you can see your path on a satellite image with respect to claim boundaries and topographical features

Whitehorse Copper Belt

Details	POIs for GPS
Points of interest (POI) files for GPS for all projects in the Whitehorse Copper Belt in KML and GPX formats. Download either KML or GPX. You do not need both. We suggest you use these POIs with Custom Maps below.

When you load one of the POI files onto your GPS, you will find each POI for the Whitehorse Copper Belt identified by a six-character identifier called the POI ID: axxxnn .

• a = C: Copper Belt Centre
• a = N: Copper Belt North
• a = S: Copper Belt South
• xxx: three-letter sequence, the same for all POIs in a single project
• nn: two-digit POI number described in detail on the specifc project page

The table below shows the POI ID for each project. For example, every POI at War Eagle will appear with an ID in the range NWAR00–NWAR99.

This table also provides Custom Maps for GPS that you can download for each project or group of projects.

When you load one of these POI files onto your GPS, you will find each POI identified by a five-character identifier, the POI ID:

• CMBnn: points of interest where nn is the POI number in the range "01" to "99".
• MPnnn: mile posts where nnn is in the range "000" (mile point 0.0), 005 (mile point 0.5), 010 (mile point 1.0), 015 (mile point 1.5) ... 110 (mile point 11.0).
