Tours conducted by Timothy Green do not take place on a commercial basis. They are free of charge. Why?

Timothy Green has spent a lot of time researching and exploring the subjects of the tours. He likes to share what he has found.
Some of the tour subjects are controversial. This has led to public pronouncements that are long on emotion and short on fact. Timothy Green would like to provide the relevants facts so that citizens and governments can make sensible decisions for the long-term benefit of the generations who follow us.

Copper in Whitehorse: yesterday and tomorrow

Copper has been important to the Whitehorse area for thousands of years: pre-Contact projectile points, early 1900s mining, Whitehorse Copper Mine 1967–1982. Because copper is a critical mineral required to mitigate climate change, further exploration is taking place right now in the Whitehorse Copper Belt.
